Abstrak

Daun bidara adalah tanaman yang cukup melimpah di Medan yang memiliki banyak manfaat di bidang kesehetan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memprediksi kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder yang ada pada ekstrak daun bidara, melalui uji kulaitatif dengan skrining menggunakan pereaksi spesifik, nalisa gugus fungsi dengan FT-IR dan massa dengan GC-MS. Hasil skrining menunjukan bahwa ekstrak methanol daun bidara mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, tannin, saponin dan fenol. Analisa gugus fungsi menunjukan daerah panjang gelombang  3300 cm-1 yaitu serapan OH, 2700 – 2900 cm-1 menunjukan serapan C-H, 1600 - 1700 cm-1 menunjukan serapan C=O, 1400 – 1450 cm-1 menunjukan serapan C-H, 1365 - 1385 cm-1 menunjukan serapan bengkok CH3, dan 1000 – 1100 cm-1 menunjukan serapan C-O. Hasil analisa massa dengan GC-MS menunjukan empat peak dominan dari senyawa yaitu Z-5-Methyl-6-heneicosen-11-one, 17-Pentatriacontene, Ethyl iso-allocholate dan Pentacosane.
