PEER-REVIEW PROCESS AND EDITORIAL DECISION
PEER REVIEW PROCESS AND EDITORIAL DECISION
All manuscripts of articles submitted are read by the editorial staff. Manuscripts evaluated by the editor do not match the journal criteria are rejected immediately without external review. Manuscripts that are evaluated of potential interest to our readers are sent to the double-blind reviewer. The editor then makes a decision based on the reviewer's recommendation from several possibilities: rejected, requires major revision, needs minor revision, or is accepted.
The Editor in Chief of the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Sciences (JPS) has the right to decide which manuscripts to publish in the journal.
Review Process:
- The author submits the manuscript
- Editor Evaluation [some manuscripts are rejected or returned before the review process]
- The double-blind peer-review process
- Editor Decision
- Confirmation to the authors.
