Evaluasi aktivitas analgesik dan antidiare ekstrak etanol bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea Linn.)

Abstrak
Efek analgesik dan antidiare dari ekstrak etanol bunga telang (EBT) telah diujikan pada hewan uji mencit. EBT jika dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol pensuspensi secara signifikan (p<0,05) menurunkan jumlah geliat mencit yang diinduksi nyeri dengan menggunakan asam asetat. Persentase proteksi analegesik dihitung dari pengurangan geliat mencit. EBT dosis 100, 200, dan 400 mg/kgBB menunjukkan proteksi analgesik secara berturut-turut sebesar 76,6% (9,4 ± 3,65), 93,9% (2,4 ± 1,95), dan 97,5% (1,0 ± 0,71). Efek antidiare EBT dievaluasi menggunakan model mencit diare yang induksi oleum ricini. Diketahui EBT dapat menunda onset diare yang diakibatkan oleh oleum ricini dan menurunkan frekuensi buang air besar. Tidak ada perbedaan bermakna (p>0,05) antara kelompok yang diberi EBT dosis 400 mg/kgBB dengan kelompok yang diberi loperamide. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa EBT mempunyai aktivitas analgesik dan antidiare.
