The relationship of work stress for health personnel with the quality of services at UPT Puskesmas Medan Sunggal

Abstract
Introduction: The quality of service of hospital staff is essential for a hospital's progress as a provider of health services. The work stress experienced by health workers caused by heavy workloads will impact patient services. This research will determine the relationship between health workers' work stress and service quality at the UPT Puskesmas Medan Sunggal in 2023. Method The type of research used is quantitative, using a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was 50 respondents, and the sample was 50 respondents. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data analysis uses univariate and bivariate analysis. The results are based on the results of the chi-square statistical test of the relationship between work stress and service quality, p-value 0.006 < α (0.05), meaning that there is a relationship between Health Worker Work Stress and Service Quality at the UPT Puskesmas Medan Sunggal in 2023. This research concludes that there is a relationship between health worker work stress and service quality at the UPT Puskesmas Medan Sunggal in 2023.
