Uji Aktivitas Antidiabetes Kombinasi Esktrak Daun Kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) dan Daun Jambu Biji (Psidium guajava) Pada Tikus Putih Jantan Galur Wistar

Abstrak
Tujuan: untuk menguji apakah kombinasi pemberian ekstrak daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) dan daun jambu biji (Psidium guajava) memiliki efek lebih baik dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dibandingkan dengan ekstrak tunggal. Metode: eksperimen dengan rancangan pre- and post- test with control group design. Sampel ialah daun kelor, daun jambu biji dengan 30 ekor tikus galur wistar yang dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok. Kelompok kontrol normal, kelompok kontrol negatif (Na CMC 1%), kelompok kontrol positif (glibenklamid 5 mg/kg BB), kelompok ekstrak daun kelor dosis 100 mg/kg BB, kelompok ekstrak daun jambu biji dosis 105 mg/kg BB, dan kelompok kombinasi ekstrak daun kelor dengan daun jambu biji. Analisa data menggunakan program komputerisasi menggunakan uji Welch ANOVA dan Post Hoc Games-Howell. Hasil: menunjukkan bahwa semua kelompok perlakuan menurunkan kadar glukosa darah secara signifikan dibandingkan kontrol negatif (p<0,05), namun efeknya tidak sebanding dengan kontrol positif dan tidak signifikan dengan kontrol normal pada hari ke-21. Pemberian kombinasi EEDK (Ekstrak Etanol Daun Kelor) dan EEDJB tidak memberikan efek yang lebih baik dibandingkan ekstrak tunggal. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ekstrak tunggal dan kombinasi antara ekstrak daun kelor dan jambu biji memiliki aktivitas antidiabeter, tetapi kombinasi antara ekstrak daun kelor dan jambu biji menunjukkan tidak memiliki efek yang lebih baik.
