Pengetahuan, Sikap, dan Perilaku Pengguna Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang dan Pendek di Daerah Terpencil Indonesia

Abstrak
Penggunaan metode kontrasepsi jangka panjang (MKJP) di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah meskipun pemerintah telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan penggunaannya guna menurunkan angka kematian ibu dan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik antara pengguna MKJP dan non-MKJP, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pemilihan metode kontrasepsi pada wanita usia subur di wilayah pedesaan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan melibatkan 394 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling, dan seluruh responden mengisi kuesioner yang telah valid dan reliabel. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Uji Mann–Whitney digunakan untuk membandingkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku antara pengguna MKJP dan non-MKJP. Uji Chi-square dan analisis regresi logistik digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemilihan metode kontrasepsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Pengguna MKJP memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang lebih tinggi, sikap yang lebih positif, dan praktik kontrasepsi yang lebih baik dibandingkan pengguna non-MKJP. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan MKJP meliputi tingkat pengetahuan yang tinggi (OR = 2,415; p = 0,001), pendidikan di atas tingkat sekolah dasar (OR = 7,03; p = 0,003), paparan media cetak (OR = 28,331; p = 0,000), serta memperoleh layanan kontrasepsi di puskesmas (OR = 6,6; p = 0,009). Kesimpulannya, pengguna kontrasepsi jangka pendek memiliki tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik yang lebih rendah dibandingkan pengguna MKJP. Oleh karena itu, individu dengan tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku yang rendah perlu diprioritaskan dalam program edukasi dan promosi kesehatan reproduksi.
